First, let's talk about the experience of this trip
1. Because four people are carrying mobile phones, and I also brought an iPad to take photos and check information, so when I arrived at the hotel, the charging head and cable were always not enough, and several times I couldn't get in touch with the hotel because my mobile phone didn't charge enough. So remember to bring a few more charging head and charging line, it is best to bring a battery.
2. When we visit the coastal city in summer, we must pay attention to the typhoon related news. We were blocked by the typhoon in Weihai this time, and we had nothing to do in the hotel. Fortunately, in the afternoon, the rain and wind gradually decreased, and then we went out in the rain.
3. It's inevitable to eat seafood in Qingdao. However, I would like to remind you not to buy ready to eat seafood from roadside stalls. My aunt had diarrhea after eating it, and she could only stay in the hotel for the last day and a half. A few of us didn't eat at that time and survived.
4. The elderly must bring their senior citizen's card and the students must bring their student's card, otherwise the tickets will not be discounted.

Now let's record our trip according to the time. I'll try my best to write some useful information for you.
The first day we arrived at Jinan airport after 7 p.m. It was very sultry that night. We stayed in Yijia guest room, Jinan Wanda Hotel, which is only three stops away from the railway station. Although I didn't feel very good when I went in that night, it turns out that this hotel is the best choice for economic tourism.
Because it is an apartment hotel, the lobby and corridor are very simple, but the room layout is very warm. The bed is super large and comfortable, which is better than the four-star hotel I stayed in. If there are three people, one room is enough, and there is also a kitchen where I can cook by myself. Of course, the disadvantage is that the bathroom is too small, and the water will drip all over the floor after taking a bath. The location of the hotel is very good. It's not far from the railway station, so it's easy to go back and forth to Mount Tai. Next to Wanda Square, shopping and eating are very convenient, to Baotu Spring and Daming Lake these attractions are not far, bus or rent can be.
The next day we went to Mount Tai. The train tickets were purchased on behalf of Ctrip. There is a motor train from Jinan to Taishan. It only takes more than 10 minutes to get there, but I must book it in advance. I had to take the ordinary train because I was late. Jinan had cooled down that day, but Mount Tai was still sultry. Some of us are old and some of us are small, so we decided to go to Zhongtianmen by car.
There is no water in Mount Tai, and the scenery is inferior to that of our Sichuan mountains, so a few of our colleagues are listless and retreat after climbing for a while. We went back to Zhongtianmen for dinner, because it was still a long time before the train in the afternoon, we decided to walk down the mountain, and then this decision made my leg ache for about a week. From Zhongtianmen to the foot of the mountain, we spent nearly three and a half hours walking and stopping. This is the longest time to go down the mountain, so I admire those people who climb up from the foot of the mountain.
This is not the first time I have come to Mount Tai. Anyway, every time I come here happily, I leave without feeling anything. I think this is mainly related to the mentality. If you look at the scenery, you will be disappointed, but if you want to find the historical footprints, you will certainly gain. On the way down the mountain, the inscriptions written by the emperors of the Qing Dynasty and the numerous inscriptions on both sides bear witness to the history of Mount Tai.
After returning to Jinan, I bought a set meal for four of Shunfeng Feiniu on the hero mountain road. In the past, it took only 135 yuan to take a taxi, but the dishes were so rich that they didn't finish. This group purchase was surprisingly satisfactory.
After a night's rest, the next day we went to Baotu Spring and Daming Lake in Jinan. What I basically saw was that I didn't make complaints about what I wanted to do before I saw many people Tucao. On that day, the weather was pleasant, and the buildings in the park were very exquisite. There was a kind of cultural heritage that could not be felt in the parks in Chengdu. The three springs of Baotu Spring are still gushing with clear water. The water quality is extremely clear, and children play among them. I can't help but thank Lao She, a good guide.
The ten minute drive from Baotu Spring to Daming Lake is better than we expected. We took the Dragon Boat No.1 and glided slowly on the lake. We went to lixiating island where Emperor Qianlong lived for a while to feel the architectural and historical atmosphere of the Qing Dynasty.
On the third day, I had a rest in the hotel and went to Weihai in the afternoon. There is no high-speed railway from Jinan to Weihai, so it takes eight hours by train. By the time we arrived, the typhoon was already coming, and the storm was coming from the sky. We put on our raincoats and umbrellas, but it still didn't help. There was chaos at the exit of the station. We couldn't get a taxi at all. We were dragging our luggage in the rain. For a moment, we really regretted choosing this time to come to Weihai. But in the end, a kind-hearted driver finally took us to the hotel, in a mess.
Our hotel is called Weihai Haoli holiday hotel. Although the service of the hotel is not flattering, it would be really nice to live here if it wasn't for the typhoon. On the left is Weihai port. It's very close to the seashore to pick up shells or to Liugong Island by boat. On the right is a Korean style street. The barbecue we eat here is authentic Korean style. The boss himself is Korean. The sanitary facilities inside the hotel are very good and the space is quite large. In a word, apart from the service, everything else is satisfactory.
Typhoon trapped us in the hotel doing nothing. At noon, I went out to find something to eat with the strong wind and the stream. After feeling the typhoon, my pants were all wet, which was pretty good. In the afternoon, when the rain was less, we went to the city with raincoats and umbrellas. Sitting on the bus, we saw that the trees were blown to one side, which was very interesting. I don't know if it's because of the typhoon that the shopping malls are feigning around 5:30, so they have to go back home.
The next day up, it was really sunny, clear sky, people can hardly believe yesterday's storm. Because of the time constraint, we took a taxi to Weihai International bathing beach. On the way, I saw the bare mountain burned by the recent fire. It was really shocking, but I'm sorry I didn't take it. There is no charge for the bathing beach. The sun is dazzling and you have to wear sunglasses. It's comfortable to step on the soft sand. Because of the typhoon, the waves on the shore beat a little fast. As soon as the waves came, everyone screamed and ran back. The children had a good time. They piled castles, built plank roads, picked up shells and returned with a full load.
It's really good to choose public transportation in Weihai because there are fewer people in Weihai, so you can basically sit on the bus. Then slowly along with the car, enjoy the scenery on the street. Our common feeling is that the streets of Weihai are spacious and clean, the sky is blue and cloudless, and the air is fresh and pleasant. So my daughter asked me: since Weihai is so beautiful, why is the provincial capital of Shandong not Weihai but Jinan? I have to answer: because the emperors have only been to Jinan, not Weihai. She nodded, thoughtful, I do not know if she understood.
So we basically only played for half a day in Weihai and took the bus to Qingdao. There is a bus from Weihai to Qingdao in 15 minutes. It takes about three and a half hours on the way. From July to September, Qingdao can be said to be overcrowded, and hotel prices are exorbitant. We live in Donghai East Road, in the polar ocean world business circle, a hotel called Yinghai holiday hotel. The price of this hotel is similar to that of the first two, but the room is much more shabby. The worst thing is that there are no windows. In fact, this business district is not mature, only a few expensive restaurants, daily shopping is very inconvenient. Of course, the advantage is that it's closer to the sea, next to the polar ocean world.
I went to the Christian church on Jiangsu Road on Sunday morning. Up the stairs, the church is hidden among the trees. Although it is not lofty, it is solemn. There were two sermons in the church on Sunday, each with a large number of people. We attended the service seriously until the choir sent us away. Coming out of the church, we took a car to see the landmark of Qingdao, the May 4th Square. But the midday sun was too big, and the two children were withered by the sun, so they had to take a taxi to leave in a hurry. In this way, we have reached a consensus that we'd better not go out and have a rest in the hotel from 12 o'clock to 4 o'clock.
In the evening when the sun was about to set, we went out again and took the bus to the trestle. This time can be said to be the prime time of the day in Qingdao. The setting sun shines on you and the cool wind makes you feel comfortable. Qingdao people are used to going out at this time, carrying a bag of beer and walking home with slippers. We found an old restaurant near the trestle and tasted authentic seafood: clams, scallops, elephant clams, prawns and squid. The taste was delicious and the price was reasonable. However, because the meal was too slow, it was completely dark when we arrived at the trestle. We missed the most suitable time to shoot the trestle, so we had to stroll on it, indicating that we had a tour here.
The next day, four soldiers divided into two groups. Two children went to play polar ocean world by themselves. My aunt and I went to Shilaoren sightseeing park. The Binhai Road near Shi Laoren is very clean and tidy. Coupled with the cool feeling of the Shanghai wind, my aunt praised the beauty of Qingdao as she walked. She always said that she would stay here for a long time. I think the same is true. Qingdao is such a city. There is no amazing scenery. Its beauty needs to be felt slowly. I suggest that friends who come to Qingdao should rent their own houses and stay for 10 days and a half months. They should walk slowly in the streets of the city, the seaside and the market.
On the other side of the two children, but by the sea world crowd crowded with no interest, hastily walked around and came out. In the afternoon, as usual, I go to the bath to swim. In fact, I'm not very interested in this, as long as the children have a good time.
On the last day, we made a reservation to return to Chengdu at 5 p.m., but actually only half a day is available. Because aunt was diarrhea caused by the seafood on the street, we had to go shopping. When we saw the German architecture on Zhongshan Road, we didn't know why we discussed the World War II from the German concession. The more we talked about it, the more excited we were. We forgot to take photos.
Zhongshan road goes straight to Jimo commodity market. Although this market is very famous, I don't feel it at all. As a matter of routine, I bought some small gifts and came out.
What should travel notes end with? I have no idea. I can only talk about the harvest and regret. My own harvest is that I am suddenly interested in writing articles and taking photos. I hope I will have the opportunity to learn photography technology, take good photos and write good articles in the future. As for the children, I think in addition to the excitement of the sea, it may also stimulate their interest in history and geography. It's a pity that time is too short, but I'm still grateful to be able to travel together.
