Day1: arrive at Taishan station at 3 p.m. and take the bus to the entrance of tianwai village. Line up to buy tickets, take a minibus to Zhongtianmen directly, buy a stick and start climbing up. It takes less than three hours to get to Nantianmen. It happened that the sunset was particularly beautiful. I had dinner after taking photos in Nantianmen for more than half an hour. Then continue to climb up to the place where you stay at the top of the mountain - Shenqi hotel.
Day2: at five o'clock in the morning, I went to see the sunrise with the troops of Shenqiao Hotel, but the fog was heavy, there was no sunrise, and I was shivering. I went back to the hotel to sleep until ten o'clock, checked out and went to Yuhuangding and other scenic spots on the mountain. After that, I went down the mountain and had lunch in Tianjie. After arriving at Nantianmen, take the taohuayu cableway to go down the mountain, and then follow the taohuayu mountain highway to go down the mountain. The road is quiet and beautiful, with deep forest, strange peaks and strange cliffs. It's very beautiful! When you get out of the mountain, you can't get a taxi. Take the bus to reverse to the high-speed railway station and end the happy journey.
1、 Introduction to Mount Tai
According to Sima Qian's famous saying, "death is more important than Mount Tai or less than a feather." When it comes to "the top of Mount Tai does not bend down", Du Fu "will be at the top of the mountain and see all the small mountains at a glance." Mount Tai, which is located in the central part of Shandong Province, is known as the "top of the five mountains" because of thousands of years of spiritual and cultural penetration and rendering as well as the contrast of human landscape. Just like climbing the Great Wall, it has become the dream of many Chinese people. It is the epitome of the spiritual culture of the Chinese nation, and now it has become a precious world heritage. The most fascinating thing about Mount Tai is that it is the only famous mountain in Chinese history that has been granted Zen by the emperor. At the same time, Mount Tai is also a prosperous place for Buddhism and Taoism, and a mountain for emperors to worship.
Red Gate climbing line: the most classic climbing line, that is, the red gate line, is the royal way of the emperors of all dynasties, which is suitable for walking.
Tianwaicun mountaineering line: the starting point is waicun square. Starting from here, you can take a tour bus to Zhongtianmen.
Tianzhufeng mountaineering route: tianzhufeng houshiwu route is one of the most original mountaineering routes with natural features, with beautiful peaks and various pines and rocks.

2、 About transportation
Taian City and most of the third and fourth tier cities, the railway station is the city center, bus hub. So you can go to any place by bus at Taishan station!
1. If you want to walk all the way up the mountain, you can take No.3 bus to the terminal station to reach the red gate.
2. If you want to take a bus to Zhongtianmen first, you can take No.3 bus across the road or take it to the terminal to tianwai village（ Well, route 3 is tianwai village - Hongmen, passing by the railway station)
3. If you want to feel fresh, you can take No.16 bus to the terminal and visit taohuayu scenic spot.
4. If you arrive at Tai'an station by high-speed rail, you can take No.18 or No.34 bus to Taishan station, and then choose the same bus as above to go to the scenic spot.
5. If there are more than two people, it will be more cost-effective to take a taxi. However, it is suggested to take a taxi when you get out of the station, so as to guard against black cars with malicious charges.
6. It should be noted that the ticket station of taohuayu scenic spot belongs to the suburb of Tai'an City, not only there is no taxi at the entrance of the scenic spot, but also no taxi along the way! So if taohuayu scenic spot comes out, you can only take a bus to the city, and then take a taxi to the place you want to go.
3、 Practical information
When climbing Mount Tai, there is no signpost and altitude information along the way, but you can judge the altitude according to the location of temples. Scanning the public official account of the above picture, the travel information of Shucheng, and the reply to "Taishan", can get the useful information of the elevation and distance of the scenic spots.
4、 About accommodation
When you go to Mount Tai, you will choose different accommodation places according to different climbing routes.
1. If you have a routine one-day tour, you can go up the mountain by cableway in the morning and down the mountain by cableway in the afternoon, then you can choose a hotel in the city.
2. If you follow the trend and choose "climbing Mount Tai at night" and want to save money by not staying on the mountain, I don't know what to say, but I don't know if you can accept the idea that "after a hard night, there is no sunrise"?
3. This is my recommended way to stay: climb to the top of the mountain the night before, find a good hotel on the top of the mountain, have a comfortable sleep, and then watch the sunrise in the morning.
The hotel at the top of the mountain mainly consists of two parts: the rest hotel under the Jade Emperor's roof and a group of hotels at the south gate.
This kind of room is about 500 yuan per person. Although it is much more expensive than many hotels in Nantianmen, considering the three-star standard, VIP service and the best viewing place, I think it is worth it.
1. Mount Tai is a popular scenic spot, not to mention may day, Tomb Sweeping Day and golden week. Even on weekends, tourists will come one after another. So if you want to travel off peak, it is recommended to go on weekdays. Worst of all, it's OK to leave on Friday afternoon.
2. Climbing Mount Tai, a climbing stick is necessary. It doesn't need to be more advanced. Just buy 2 yuan at the foot of the mountain.
3. The price of food and beverage in the scenic spot is proportional to the altitude. Even so, it is not recommended to reserve a large amount of water and food for mountain climbing. The few yuan saved is not enough to sweat.
4. I personally don't recommend climbing Mount Tai at night, but if you really want to climb at night, it's necessary to buy a flashlight.
5. It's just a burden to rent a cotton coat too early. It's suggested to rent it again after arriving at Tianjie.
6. Hongmen to Zhongtianmen is more religious, there is no scenery along the way. If the physical strength is average, it is recommended to take a bus directly from tianwai village to Zhongtianmen, and then start climbing.
7. When I was in the 18th plate, I heard too many tourists down the mountain exclaim, "I knew it was so steep, so I took the cableway!" Yes, it's easier to go up the mountain than to go down. If you don't want to "suffer this crime", you can take a cable car to go down the mountain from Nantianmen to Zhongtianmen.
8. Taohuayu scenic area is very small and fresh. Yes, the stream flows here, and the peach blossom is in full bloom in summer. It's even more beautiful than friends. However, it takes at least 3-4 hours to go down the mountain for 10.5 kilometers, but whether you can take a long-distance hike to enjoy the beautiful scenery must be considered before visiting, because you are really tired.
9. Taohuayu scenic spot ticket station belongs to the suburb of Tai'an City, not only there is no taxi at the entrance of the scenic spot, but also no taxi along the way! So if taohuayu scenic spot comes out, you can only take bus No.16 to the city, and then take a taxi to the place you want to go.
10. To be a responsible traveler, don't litter or bring kindling into the mountain to protect the ecological environment of Mount Tai.

At 3 p.m. on April 14, I arrived at Taishan station by hard seat for more than three hours. There are two railway stations in Tai'an City, one is Taishan station, which mainly stops at green cars, and the other is Tai'an station, which stops at high-speed railway. Taishan station is very close to Taishan Scenic Spot, the starting price of taxi is enough; Tai'an station is far away from the scenic spot. It costs about 30 yuan to make a watch.
Taishan railway station, the typical architectural style of the 1980s, the door is relatively cold.
As I chose to take the minibus directly to Zhongtianmen, I took the No.3 bus to tianwai village ticket station.
Walking on the square of "Tianyuan place" and looking back, tourists are very rare. It is a wise choice to come to Mount Tai on Thursday.
Due to the scarcity of tourists, so into the ticket station did not line up directly on the bus. The mountain road is rugged, and there is no particularly amazing scenery on the road.
About 20 minutes, the bus arrives at Zhongtianmen. At this time, the altitude is close to 840 meters. Zhongtianmen is a relatively large supply station in the middle of Mount Tai. We sell everything we eat, drink and use. Prices are still at normal levels: 3-5 yuan for mineral water, 5 yuan for pancakes and 3-5 yuan for crutches.
On the way up the mountain, you can see that the back husband is carrying loads and transporting goods. He lives on his own physical strength, which is worthy of respect. In fact, it's beyond most people's expectation: Although Taishan is connected with the cable car, the cost of transporting materials by the cable car is far higher than the cost of carrying husband's labor. Therefore, almost all the materials above Zhongtianmen are carried up by one man.
Because Mount Tai is a famous historical mountain, there are many steles and stone carvings. But for the vast majority of tourists, the historical resources of all this are not as pleasant as a few self portraits~
Yunbu bridge: one of the scenic spots in Mount Tai. Yunbu bridge, which is located in the north of happy Sanli, was originally a wooden bridge, called Xuehua bridge. It was rebuilt as a stone bridge in the Republic of China. The forest here is luxuriant, the valley is deep and secluded, often covered by clouds and fog, so Yang Chengxun named it "yunbu bridge".
Chaoyang Cave: located in the northwest of wusongting, it is a natural stone cave with the entrance facing the sun. Outside the cave is spacious, the ancient pine is tall and straight, and juejian is in the East.
Chaoyang cave is also called Xianling cave. There is an old woman waiting at the gate all the year round. At that time, I thought it was the people who lived here. They were curious to search the Internet. It turned out that they spent money to "calculate divination". Some people say that they cheat money, others say that they succeed in seeking a son. I'm not good at expressing my personal views on religion, but if I believe it, it's OK to do divination by passing by~
At a glance, I found that trees are so tall and strong on the rock at an altitude of 1130 meters. Shouldn't people be the same?
Stepping into the 18th set, the steps are obviously steeper. From Kaishan to Longmen, it is "slow 18", then to shengxianfang, it is "slow 18", and then to Nantianmen, it is "tight 18". There are more than 1630 steps in total, which have risen 400 meters in less than one kilometer. Most of the tourists are breathless because of the steep rock formation in Shibapan. Even I, who is proficient in mountaineering, have had a few rest.
Arriving near Longmen square, I saw a shop selling watermelons and bought one. A thin piece is 10 yuan, a little expensive.
At this time, the distant ridge looms, and is about to start climbing the most "difficult" tight 18 sets.
The South Gate of heaven came into view, but considering the gap, it didn't seem that it could be boarded for a while.
About ten minutes to reach Nantianmen. Like most tourists, I also took advantage of the atmosphere to say: "Mount Tai, finally conquered you!" But in fact, the altitude of Nantianmen is only 1420 meters, about 100 meters away from Yuhuangding, the highest place of Mount Tai.
Although Nantianmen is not the highest place on Mount Tai, it is comparable to the transfer station on the top of the mountain. There are all kinds of food, drink, buy and live.
It was close to 6:30 p.m. when we arrived at Nantianmen. It was not dark yet, just in time for sunset. As soon as you enter the left side of Nantianmen, it's the second best place to shoot (the passage leading to the bathroom below is the best place). The sunset of Mount Tai, setting off the mountain far away, is really beautiful! This makes me look forward to: "how beautiful is the sunrise that allows so many people to climb Mount Tai at night?"

When climbing the mountain, my stomach kept cooing. When I got to Nantianmen, I was hungry, so I came to Nantianmen Hotel, which I could see as soon as I entered Nantianmen. The hotel has a restaurant and operates 24 hours a day.
There is a pancake seller at the door, 10 yuan. But pancakes are too small!!! Before I could take a picture, I ate it in one bite!!! The taste is simple, not as good as the "Shandong pancakes" sold under my house.
Beijing sauce shredded meat, 40 yuan, small amount, bean skin is cool, taste OK. The overall cost performance is average.
Taishan tofu is one of the few 10 yuan dishes used to attract customers. It tastes very light and not delicious. It is not recommended.
I was asked why I didn't have rice? Because the rice here is 10 yuan a bowl!!! Even a small cup of hot water costs 5 yuan!!! Such high-end food prices, fly restaurant level service, plus C-level food service, food level publicity, all make this restaurant discount.
Perhaps because of its superior geographical location, this restaurant has no shortage of customers. But if you go inside, you will find that there are many restaurants with good quality and low price in Nantianmen. To sum up, the restaurant of Nantianmen hotel is not recommended!
After dinner, the sky is getting dark. At the moment, there are no tourists gathered in front of Nantian gate, so I can take photos with my heart's content.
Looking out, you can see the bright Taian city.
After taking a simple photo, I followed the south gate to Tianjie, climbed up less than 15 minutes, and then arrived at the Shenqi Hotel, where I stayed at the top of Mount Tai. Taian Shenqi hotel was built in 1991. It is located on the top of Mount Tai, with a back to the Jade Emperor's roof and a forward-looking Bixia temple. It is adjacent to guanri peak in the East and Confucius cliff in the West. It was built on the original site of Shenqi palace, the former bedroom of emperor Bixia of Mount Tai. It is a foreign-related hotel on the top of Mount Tai. The hotel is elaborately designed by Mr. Dai Nianci, a world famous design expert, with novel and unique style. When Jiang Zemin came to Mount Tai in 2006, he was staying in Shenqi hotel!
I chose a big bed room with an area of about 24 square meters. When I enter the room, I can see it in front of my eyes when I set up stun inside! Exquisite decoration, comfortable carpet, warm and comfortable.
The hotel provides tea for free. After boiling the water, you can make a cup of tea and sip the fragrance of tea. No matter how tired you are, it will disappear.
The bathroom is also a standard three-star facility with complete disposable items and hair dryer. It is worth noting that due to the limited water supply in the mountains, hot water is only supplied at 8-11 pm every day.
The hotel has only two floors and more than 50 rooms. It is precisely because of the small number that each guest room is very exquisite, the corridor is also covered with carpet, and the lighting on the roof makes it feel like a "Golden Avenue".
At night, go out to take photos. It is found that the public security environment of Shenqiao hotel is very good, and it can only be accessed after the security personnel open the door.
Looking back at the path leading to Shenqiao Hotel, it is quiet and elegant. I don't know if the army climbing Mount Tai at night will come and occupy this place in another four hours?
Early the next morning, Shenqi Hotel sent someone to knock on the door to wake up and watch the sunrise. Shenqi hotel has its own viewing area at nikuanfeng, so if you stay in this hotel, you don't have to come here one or two hours in advance to occupy a place. It's enough to come here 20 minutes before sunrise~
But the sky is not beautiful, met with strong wind and fog. The golden wheel, which should have risen from the horizon, was hidden away by the fog.
After waiting for half an hour, we still can't see the sun. There are many people scattered around, and there are many people complaining: "I've been climbing all night, and I haven't seen anything. I'm so sorry!"
Yes, climbing Mount Tai at night is a "cost-effective" climbing method highly praised by many people. But I don't know if you can accept the risks and regrets brought by this climbing method:
① Do you have the strength to climb at night without sleepiness?
② Can you accept the regret that there is no sunrise?
As a passer-by, we are too small in the universe. When nature goes against its will, it's enough to keep an ordinary heart!
At the entrance of riguan peak, there is a stone tablet, which is particularly eye-catching. Because this stone tablet is printed on the 5 yuan note, it is more famous than any stone tablet in the scenic area, and the tourists who take a group photo form a long line.
After climbing several tens of meters, we reached the highest peak of Mount Tai - Yuhuangding. Yuhuangding, also known as Tianzhu peak, was built in the Ming Dynasty. The plaque on the shrine inscribed "Chai Wang legacy" shows that the ancient emperors burnt firewood here to worship the gods of mountains and rivers. In front of the hall, there is a "top stone", which marks the highest point of Mount Tai. The inscription of "Gudeng Fengtai" in the northwest of the zenith stone indicates that this is the place where the emperors of the past dynasties set up altars to worship heaven when they ascended Mount Tai. The East Pavilion is expected to see "the rising sun in the East", while the West Pavilion is expected to see "the Yellow River jade belt".
The main hall of Yuhuangding is dedicated to the bronze statue of the Jade Emperor. In the center of the temple, there is a zenith stone. On the zenith stone, there is a stone tablet engraved with two lines: "Taishan zenith" and "1545m". Grand momentum, rising from the ground, has the reputation of "the first mountain in the world". Surrounded by stone railings, it is the highest point of Mount Tai. On the stone is the word "extreme top" inscribed by Nanyang king in 1921. On the northwest side, there is a stele of "Gudeng Fengtai", where ancient emperors set altars to worship heaven. Yuhuangding is superior to the others. The pavilion stands on the top of the peak and looks around. It really has the feeling of "seeing all the mountains at a glance".
Looking down from the top of the Jade Emperor is Bixia temple, the holy land of Quanzhen sect, the mainstream of Taoism. Bixia temple is a group of magnificent ancient high mountain buildings, which is composed of 12 large buildings, such as main hall, incense Pavilion, etc. The whole building takes Zhaobi, nanshenmen, Shanmen and Xiangting as the central axis, which is symmetrical left and right, low in the South and high in the north, progressive layer by layer, ups and downs, uneven and rigorous layout. It is very representative in Taoist temples, which shows the scientific and exquisite architecture of the ancient Han working people and the superb wisdom.
Sleepy up, so down the stairs back to the hotel to sleep for three hours, again came to the day view peak, and in-depth.
Located on the left side of the weather Hotel, there is a protruding stone, which is particularly eye-catching. It is said that there are guardrails around, but the legendary "best viewing point" really deserves its reputation.
On the way down the mountain, there are more and more tourists. Many of them come for a day tour with tour groups: they go up the mountain by cableway in the morning and go down the mountain by cableway in the afternoon. They just make a small circle at the top of the mountain. They neither understand the history and culture of Mount Tai nor see the magnificent sunrise and sunset of Mount Tai. I feel very sorry for them.
In Tianjie, many vendors sell souvenirs, food and drink. Compared with Nantianmen, things here seem to be more cost-effective.
At noon, the Nantianmen gate has strong ultraviolet rays and few tourists.
In Nantianmen, there are two cableways for tourists. One is between Nantianmen and Zhongtianmen, the other is between Nantianmen and taohuayu. Seeing more and more tourists on the Red Gate route, I plan to find another way to choose the taohuayu route to go downhill.
Afterwards, it turned out that the number of tourists on this route was surprisingly small, and even the number of people we saw along the way was only 100. Another feature is that this route is built around mountains with a small slope, which means that the distance will be much larger than the straight up and down stairs.
Arrive at peach blossom Valley, the scenery along the way is very small and fresh. It's a pity that the camera battery is less. All the photos of taohuayu are taken by mobile phone!
It took more than three hours to complete the whole journey. To be honest, I'm a little tired, but I can see the absolutely different Mount Tai. All in all, it's worth it!
I can't get a taxi when I go out, so I have to take bus No.16 to the downtown, and then transfer to the high-speed railway station.
Sunrise, red gate, the trip to Mount Tai left a lot of regret; So, Taishan, I will come again!
